AI app launch

AI App Launch, Builder by Builder

AI builders generate working apps that stall at the deployment cliff: DNS, environment variables, database wiring, and SSL. We fix the same three or four things on almost every project, usually within a week.

What Is AI App Launch Support?

Launch Essentials ($950 fixed) wires up your custom domain, DNS, SSL, hosting, environment variables, and database, and verifies the deploy. Production Hardening ($2,950 fixed) adds auth debugging, a security pass, and baseline SEO for apps taking real users, payments, or personal data.

Which AI app launch guide do you need?

Pick the situation closest to yours, then open the guide for that builder. Each one covers its own domain steps and failure modes.

Built on Lovable

A Lovable app that works on the preview and breaks on your domain. See the Lovable guide.

Built on v0 or Bolt.new

An export that needs wiring, or a fail-to-fetch error in production. See the v0 and Bolt.new guide.

Built on Replit

Replit Agent wrote its own backend, so launch includes a security review. See the Replit guide.

Real users or payments are involved

Domain setup is not enough. See AI app launch support for what Hardening adds, or compare builders on the AI builders page.

The gaps every AI builder leaves

The same five gaps repeat on almost every project, tool-agnostic.

Production configuration

Domains, DNS, environment variables, none of it wired for a live domain by default.

Security

Exposed keys and permissive database rules, sandbox-safe but not production-safe.

An SEO baseline

The builder never generated one, meta tags, titles, structured data.

Observability

No error tracking or uptime monitoring until someone adds it.

Scale ceilings

Sandbox-tier databases hit limits the generated app was never tested against.

Is an AI-built app safe to launch as it is?

Not without a review, and the builders say so themselves. Lovable runs a scan before publishing and offers deeper scans, and it states these tools do not replace a thorough security review (Lovable docs: security, checked 10 October 2026). On the auth side, Supabase redirects only to URLs on its allow list, so a production domain that was never added breaks sign-in (Supabase docs: redirect URLs).

A scan finds known classes of issue. A person reads the code paths around your data, which is what Production Hardening is for.

Diagram comparing what a builder's own scan covers (row-level security rules, dependency flaws, exposed MCP auth, optional deeper scans) with what Production Hardening adds (auth debugging, a security pass, baseline SEO, analytics and performance check)

When hardening is not optional

If real customers, payments, or personal data touch the app, launch is the halfway point. Auth debugging, a security pass, and baseline SEO live in Production Hardening at $2,950 fixed, and everything hands off to a retainer afterward on the Website Management page.

The launch checklist

The same checklist we run against every AI-generated app before it goes live:

text

DNS: domain resolves to the production host
Supabase Site URL: production domain added
Supabase Redirect URLs: production domain added
Environment variables: every preview key set on production
SSL: certificate issued and verified from multiple resolvers

Most "it worked in the sandbox and broke on my domain" tickets are one line on this list.

Take Your Replit App to Production

Replit ships a real backend, so launch here means a security review, not just a custom domain.

Launch questions

Are AI-built apps production ready by default?

No. They run, which is different: security, SEO, error handling, and scale are unaddressed until someone addresses them.

What does launch support cost?

Launch Essentials $950 fixed, Production Hardening $2,950 fixed, both published. Scaling beyond the sandbox is quoted by traffic and data model.

Who maintains the app after launch?

Predictable monthly retainers that keep your website updated, secure, backed up, and monitored, on any platform, including custom PHP/CodeIgniter applications.

Which builders do you support?

Lovable, v0, Bolt, and Replit. All four export code, which is the property that matters: exported code can be owned, and owned code can be operated.

Is Lovable safe for production?

It can be, after review. Lovable scans before publishing and says its scans do not replace a thorough security review, so an app that handles payments or personal data still needs a person to read the auth and data paths.

Can I move my AI-built app off the builder entirely?

Yes, because all four export code. Moving it onto a managed platform follows the same assessment-first process as any website migration.
